A 100% FRENCH ALLIANCE IN THE FIELD OF ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING (JUNE 2022)

The Stratoconception® additive manufacturing process offers numerous benefits for manufacturers. CIRTES, the company behind the patent for this process, has just concluded a 100% French partnership with the machine tool manufacturer MÉCANUMÉRIC and the software publisher TopSolid for the development of new ranges of industrial solutions. The three French manufacturers are proud to pool their skills in order to promote French know-how.

The manufacturer MÉCANUMÉRIC has already been supporting CIRTES for many years in the manufacture of small Stratoconception® machines. In 2017, their alliance took on another dimension with the arrival of TopSolid and the participation of the trio in a Future Investment Project (FIP) supported by the French Ministry of Industry and BPI France.

In 2020 they had created together a complete robotic solution (software + machine) via a demonstrator of more than 11 meters in length to realize large complex parts in wood or resin. The trio will repeat this experience in 2022 with an application for the Call for Expressions of Interest (CEI) "support for the supply of solutions for the industry of the future" within the framework of France 2030. This time the three French manufacturers are aiming to manufacture new automated ranges:

  • to realize large 3D parts in wood or resin
  • to realize cardboard parts for the POS sector and eco-friendly packaging
  • to realize foam and polystyrene parts
