A rock wool panel production line equipped with a raw materials shop, a robot, a conveyor and an automatic labeller: this was the challenge taken up by MÉCANUMÉRIC for its customer specialising in the manufacture of acoustic and aeraulic insulation.
At a trade fair, the customer approached us for information about a milling machine.
After several discussions to better understand his needs, we were able to offer him a tailor-made machine comprising :
- a 4-zone magazine for storing raw stone wool slabs by thickness
- a robotic arm to load the raw slabs onto the conveyor belt
- a water-jet cutting head
- an automatic labelling module immediately after cutting
- software perfectly adapted to their needs.
The customisation even went so far as to paint this production line in a different colour to the usual one, so that it would blend in perfectly with the customer's premises.
